At my agency at the Department of Health and Human Services in Roscommon as a foster care/CPS intern I am able to engage with individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities. DHHS is able to help and assist vulnerable children in the community and in the surrounding communities so I am able to assist with cases that require me to engage in all of these aspects. One task that I am able to perform for my agency independently is conducting guardianship reviews at the client’s home. This consists of setting up an appointment with the client to meet them at their home with the child/children present.
