Selena began her singing career at the age, ten when she became the lead singer in her family’s band with her sister and brother. From there she began to gain popularity and continued to grow even when the band was told they couldn’t do it because of the peoples believes that women could not get the attention of the public. And so we are here to hear about what Selena has learned through her singing career, her ups and downs, and also what she did to deal with all those people that told her and her band they could not do it.
