Selena movie was directed by Gregory Nava on 1997, it was the movie that propelled Jennifer Lopez on to stardom. This is a simple story of hope and triumph, of one girl with the drive to succeed defying the odds and following her dream. This was the greatest movie about the life of a singer or famous person I have ever seen. Jennifer Lopez did perfect and so did the people that played her family and friends throughout the movie. The drama and humor was all good. I liked how the movie started off with her being little and showing how she started off in the industry. Her parents were very supportive of her. Her father was really hard on them when they had to practice.
The film recounts the brief life of Selena Quintanilla Perez (Jennifer Lopez), a life that was built around her father's broken dreams. Her father (Edward James Olmos) had himself had a band in his youth called "Los Dinos". Now a married man with children, his dreams have stalled along the wayside. When he realizes, however, that his young daughter has some musical talent, he builds a band around her, "Selena and Los Dinos", and begins living vicariously through her. This film concentrates on Selena's relationship with her family and her rise to fame, dealing only briefly with her tragic death. She was very well cast and this movie is very inspirational. I don't remember Selina when she was popular, but she must have been a very nice person. I think this film represents the struggle of Latin artists in America, and who knew that Lopez would become like the biggest Latina artist in the world. "Selena" is a biography worth seeing and then some. Featured are adorable characters, exquisite performances, a believable and historical plot line, and a lot of irresistible idyllic chemistry. However, at the same time, suffers from too many emotional distractions and conventional

The film "My Fair Lady" directed by George Cukor is an adaptation of the play "Pygmalion" by George Bernard Shaw. The movie is set in London in the early 1900s. Although the film has too many songs, I believe that it is overall very good and has great actors and actresses castes to play the rolls, and scenes that are an addition to the book that add a great new taste! The movie My Fair Lady starts with the main character, Eliza, as a poor girl selling flowers on an England street corner.…

While the concepts of death are identical around the world – that death is irreversible, final, casual, and inevitable – it’s apparent that there are many differences in the various themes related to death and dying. These various themes are abundant in number, but the ones particular to the movie P.S I Love You include the following: the principles of a good death, end-of-life decisions, last rites, facing death – coping styles, and the big topic of grief.
