Selection Criteria
Clinical Nurse Educator – Mental Health
1) Current authority to practice as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
As required I have current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
2) Current certificate IV in Training & Assessment or working towards same or be prepared to undertake upon position commencement.
I am prepared to undertake the certificate IV in Training and Assessment at the first available instance. I enjoy activities related to training and have no doubt to my successful completion of this course in a timely manner after enrolment.
3) Demonstrated interest in policy development.
I have solid and enduring interest in policy development with a focus on the continued improvement of mental health practices at all levels of operation with specific attention to policy’s that provide clarity and guidance to clinical practitioners. I have actively participated in team meetings and reflection sessions contributing information and suggesting resources to identify and improve team structures and clinical practice requirements. I am dedicated to the implementation of activities of quality improvement and their outcomes which is demonstrated by my involvement as the Essentials of Care facilitator and as a foundation member of the Productive Wards program in the Mental Health Intensive Care Unit, Bloomfield campus.
