Hybrid- New Plug-ins cars
With the society becoming more environmentally cautious, it is not surprising that people are looking into more efficient ways to decrease air pollution from mobile emission. One way the society can decrease some of the environment pollutants on earth is decrease toxic emission from mobile sources. To this end, the government is in full support of initiatives to reduce air pollution by the car industry under the guidance of the EPA. These initiatives by all accounts will provide a healthier or greener environment for the future generation.
One of the ways the auto industry is supporting the clean air initiative is the roll out of different generation of hybrid automobile, notably the newer plug-in hybrid and the traditional hybrid. These advantages include but are limited to less use of natural gas and decrease air pollution.it is postulated that the average distance per charge is 50 miles or more, meaning, a driver can drive for more than 50 miles without using gas; and hence people who reside within 50 miles radius of their jobs can go to and from work using no gas.
In addition, to keep the plug-in hybrid cars moving, the cars batteries can be charge using an outlet of the proper voltage. Hence one can say another advantage of the plug-ins electric cars is cost efficiency. The lower cost of electricity coupled with the low gas usage by the car ultimately translates into great savings (“Plug In Hybrid, “2012). Furthermore, plug-in hydroid cars produce fewer pollutants, when the cars uses electric to power its engine, it gives off no emissions; hence, they are better than the traditional Vehicle that give off emissions in this regard (“Plug In Hybrid, “2012).
