One of the most classic comedies of the 90s is, of course, Seinfeld. Its unique humor started the trend of many similar sitcom comedies, mostly Friends and How I Met Your Mother. With great casting and superb writing, it became one of the best sitcoms to be made. Created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld, putting Jerry as himself in a sitcom about nothing, seriously nothing. The great Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Alaine Bennet a funny and charming ex of Jerry. While Jason Alexander played George, Jerrys best Friend. Lastly, Michael Richards who plays the hilarious Kramer. Kramer and Jerry have very different kind of humor. Jerry is a stand-up comic while Kramer is awkward and always on a crazy hunt. Both are very funny and we will focus on the influence of Kramer on the show's storyline and undertone.

Whether it was “soup nazi” or his buddy Newman the mailman who has a rivalry with Jerry. When he would walk into the room you better be ready to laugh hard because some crazy joke was coming. He always had something to say and wouldn’t be shy. Kramer would even go to Hollywood to try and make in the entertainment industry. He would take on weird roles, like commercials for some green drink or pretend to be scared. Then there was his clumsy humor in which no one is better than him at. Sometimes he would just fall off the stage or just trip. He would drop his food but quickly pick it up and eat it. Kramer was a unique and big difference maker to the show.
However Kramer wasn’t the main Character of the show, Jerry was. Kramer might have been extremely liked by the viewers but Jerry and George were up there as well. Kramer may have been a big shift in comedy but Jerry still did overpower the show with his comedic style. All in all the show is Legendary and will live forever in the comedy world whether you like Kramer or

Klosterman admitted that “how you felt about Clay symbolized something about how you viewed the world” (Klosterman 98). All his jokes were aimed at specific topics and issues that mattered to him but also paralleled the same topics and issues that mattered to other more discriminatory peoples. For example, a piece of art could be taken as sexist just because there was no sign of sexism in it which would then cause it to be a problem for everyone. He was hated because of the fact that he did not sugar coat things and said them how they really…

Despite the comedic differences in Duck Soup and Dr. Strangelove, many of the comedic conventions, such as the importance of dialogue, have not drastically changed. As Stanley Kubrick once proclaimed, “If you can talk brilliantly about a problem, it can create the consoling illusion that it has been mastered” (Sperb). Dialogue is so critical in the comedy genre as the character’s wit, irony, and sarcasm in their speech helps to deliver moments that induce laughter from the audience. In Duck Soup, Groucho Marx utilizes an abundance of puns to caricature the perceived lunacy of government officials at the time.…
