While JLS and Jordan had their rivalries against each other, Terman was off to the side fighting their internal battles. One thing about Terman was that it was unfairly imbalanced; there were two teams for each year and that team came with a group of teachers. There was always one good team and one bad. Miraculously, I was put on the worst teams each year. I had a range of interesting teachers - one who believed I cheated on a test with a girl who sat across the room from me on the day he wasn’t even there, with no indication from the substitute of such a thing. Another one who couldn’t accept my atrocious incompetence with the softball unit to the point where she believed I was faking my terrible hand-eye coordination and made me sit out for the rest of the unit and bringing my grade down drastically, and one who decided I could not be part of the higher lane in math class because of a degrading B, but somehow allowed people with C’s advance. The anger overwhelmed me and in 8th grade, I started becoming that student that they treated me like, minus the cheating part. I dropped participation altogether by not showing up to school
