4.4: Explain how and when to seek advice about confidentiality. As a health and social care worker it is very important that you know when and how to seek advice about confidentiality and where you can get the information from. Confidentiality is extremely important in health and social care so it can be improved on trust and working relationships between the individuals and their care workers. Some important information could be shared between the teams. Information can only be shared if it’s effective’s the individual and others that are involved in their care. E.g. if abuse is assumed within the home of the individual or seen anywhere, it’s your responsibility pass the information to the supervisors, line manager or the appropriate people
