In the story of Seedfolks, a character plants some seeds and it grows in a community garden. Along the way, many other characters plant more stuff. One character was named Ana. She watched the first seed-planter, a person named Kim, and spread the word to another person named Wendell. Ana had three traits that well describe her: observant, curious, and alert.
First, Ana was observant because she kept track of what she saw over the years. A regular person would get bored and forget.
