Security-Ranger Training Experience

Today was the first day of Security Ranger training and I was pretty excited. They did serve breakfast, but being that I am so close to home they allowed me to stay at my house rather than at Camp Ripley. The day began at 10:00am at the Ripley Education Center. I was surprised at first at how many people were actually in this training the auditorium was full. We began by introducing ourselves saying our name and then what park we are working for this season. It was really neat to hear the many different State Parks that were represented throughout the room.
