Kids will be Hitch-slapped with the absurdity of the notion that our lives are governed by the diktats of a celestial tyrant, whose omnipotence created a universe with 100 billion galaxies and 200 septillion stars, and yet who is so prone to gossip and whimsy, that he takes a keen interest in the sexual habits, thoughts and prayers of one species of primate, on one tiny planet, in one lonely corner of the cosmos.
Bible-bashing will make way for Bible-debunking. The ‘Connect’ Scripture classes of today presenting the Bible as a “factual, historical document”, will be supplanted with classes exposing the “good” book as ahistorical, scientifically disproven, and conspicuously manmade. In place of Adam and Eve and evil serpents, classes will contain the proven science of how homo sapiens were borne from an ancestral grouping of humans which evolved over millions of years and is inseparable from our precursors.
