I really enjoyed reading about the character Zeba Khan in “Secrets of the henna girl”, as she has such a strong willed, kind courageous personality. I also enjoyed reading about Zeba Khan because she gave me as the reader the different perspective of living life as a woman in a different culture and religion, than I am. I really admired and looked up to the character of Zeba, throughout the story as she always firmly stood up and stood strong for what she believed in, no matter the risk involved. This is shown when Zeba says stands up and tells everyone that she does not want to get married as she is still only 16, “Taji” I said icily ”I don't know what my dad has said to you, but I have no intention of marrying your son, or anyone else in
