Cass Frankenstein was bullied during his adolescent years. As a result, he turned to clothing as a shield. Somehow, sunglasses with tinted frames which miraculously stopped the bullying. He continues to wear sunglasses religiously. The sunglasses made Cass feel comfortable and safe even though it was detrimental to his relationships. When not wearing the sunglasses during the interview, Cass changed entirely.
A poor relationship with his father led young Will Franken to the comfort of his three sisters by playing dress up. The comfort in the women's clothes stuck and he secretly wore them, in private, his whole life. After a breakup years later, he was lonely and began to wear the women's clothes all the time, publicly. He enjoyed the thrill of doing something so taboo while enjoying that comfort. Eventually, Will transitioned to Sarah, a woman. Sarah was scrutinized and was lonelier than before. As a result, Sarah transitioned back to Will and left the women's clothes the past. …show more content…
Some Invisibilia listeners wore a white "doctors" coat and some did not while naming off the color of the text in which color names were printed. Professor Galinsky's experiment found that when wearing the "doctor's" white coat, half as many errors happened. However, another group went through the same task wearing the same coat but were told it was a "painter's" coat.
