The government restricts smoking in airports, airplanes, malls and other indoor public areas. However, is that enough for children and non-smokers to be safe from contact with tobacco? “The more we prohibit smoking in public places, the more we can count on less smoking-related health problems” (Frances Robert Lato). Everywhere people go they can always be near or get in contact with tobacco smoke, there should be more restrictions to make this issue scarcity. “Everyone can be exposed to SHS in public places where smoking is allowed, such as some restaurants, shopping centers, public transportation, parks, and schools” ( American Cancer Society). There are not enough places where smoking is restricted. These are places where many non-smokers and children go to on a daily basis where smoking is always present. Parks should all be smoke free zones as it is a place for activities and fun and it is unfair for non-smokers. Restaurants, should not allow smoking, restaurants are a place where families like to sit down and enjoy a good time while they are enjoying there meals, and should not be bothered by the smell and smoke of tobacco. Finally, schools are the last place where smoking should be allowed, secondhand smoke is even more dangerous to children and people should prevent children from being exposed to any tobacco. It is not fair for non-smokers and children who want to keep a healthy lifestyle to be exposed to smoke
