Let me explain, baptism is the first entry into accepting Christ faith, removal of all sin, and turning away from sin. Penance is when a baptized member has sinned again and betrays the church. This sacrament is a reconciliation with God, the member must confess all mortal sins committed since baptism to be forgiven. The Second Vatican Council defined the church as a “sacrament-a sign and instrument, that is, of communion with God and of unity among all people”. This shows Gods love and fidelity of the people through Christ now encounters Christians spouses through the sacrament of Marriage. This sacrament is a symbol between two people joining their lives in love and faith in Christ and a sign of the presence of Jesus in the world. The importance thing is that the things that really matter are recognized early in the marriage and nurtured throughout the relationship.
