I will start by researching and gathering sources in support of children’s exposure to the media. Perhaps one of my sources will be from author Deborah Ross who I quoted in my first synthesis paper, because of her argument that the medias influence can damage children. However, Ross additionally argues that the media can sometimes be a positive influence, so I believe she would be a strong source to include in the opposing argument. I will then write two opposing paragraphs each about 10 to 12 lines long. The first, which will include a quote from Ross, will be about how the American media is able to benefit the county’s children. The second, which will include an outside source, will be about how the media has revolutionized the way children learn today. After I will add a compare and contrast paragraph which will be about 10 to 12 lines long. The paragraph will consist of reiterating both arguments and restating the opinions of authors on both sides. The paragraph will lastly consist of a sentence or two about why the negative affects of the American mass media outweigh all the good it has done for children. Finally I will wrap the paper up by expanding the length of the original conclusion. After restating the original thesis the paragraph
