Second Peter is an Epistle or a general letter of the New Testament and is written by Peter. This letter was written to warn the believers against the dangers from within the Church. Peter warns of what I consider wolves in sheep’s clothing or as he calls it, false teachers. Likewise, these false teachers are so evident in our world today and running rampant. Consequently, they are in it just for the money by over preaching prosperity messages to line their own pockets, that there is no hell, that we all go to heaven and make sin look as if it’s a healthy way of living and even defending it. Substantially, Peter is very adamant about what happens to these false teachers and their leading God’s people astray in the end. They will be destroyed
