She was probably the funniest teacher I ever had, she always had the best and funniest costumes for Halloween. It was the first year that we started to do spelling tests that were more than 5 words. One of the projects was to perform a puppet show, our parents came and it was really fun.

I was kinda nervous the first day, but then I got used to it. I hated the uniforms because I loved wearing whatever I wanted, but it still it was kinda nice, just waking up and not trying to find something to wear. It also was the first year that I had to travel through the whole school, and my schedule was set up so none of my classes were by each other. At the end of the school year on of the teams went to the zoo for team day, but my team went bowling and to the tech center, I think that bowling was way better than going to the

With the first day approaching, and the warm summer of 2009 coming to a close, many of my peers were bursting from the seams with excitement as well as harmless cockiness; we had earned our positions as the top dogs at Pineville Elementary! With my fresh, glossy folders and binders and notebooks, and an outfit I picked out all by myself ready to go, I assured my mom she didn't have to walk me to my class on the first day. Being a fifth grader now, I couldn't have my mom embarrassing me; she did, however, steal a few quick pictures of me walking into the school.
