Mrs. Winn’s kindergarten class was probably one of my favorite elementary classes because I had my best guy friend, Cameron, in the class, and it was obviously an easy class for me. I remember whenever we colored anything or did any drawings, my teacher would always compliment my coloring abilities because I knew how to color within the lines; all the other kids had scribbles outside of the lines and their drawings would not be as neat as mine. Cameron and another boy named Jordy were my favorite people in the class and the three of us would always hang out together and play outside during recess. Jordy was my favorite until he snitched on me and told the teacher I did something I did not do. He eventually died out of my life because I did …show more content…
There was a new family that moved in behind me and they had a little girl named Ashlyn that was in the same grade as me. It was around October when they moved in and I was so happy to have another girl in the neighborhood. She ended up being in my same class as me and we sat next to each other the whole year. Since my teacher, Mrs. McConnell and her husband taught in the same school, they decided to pair up once a month and have “grade buddies”. Mr. McConnell taught fourth grade and Mrs. McConnell taught second, so my buddy was obviously older than me. Since we got the buddies in the beginning of the year, Ashlyn did not have one when she came into the class, so her and I ended up sharing my buddy and just doing all the activities in a group of three. Ashlyn and I became the bestest of friends that year and basically did everything together. We had class together so we were together there, and we lived near each other so we always hung out after school and on the …show more content…
I loved the teachers I was switching with, but it was just a bit odd that I had to go to two other people instead of my main teacher. My home room teacher, Mrs. Rowland, was one of my favorite teachers in elementary school because she was the sweetest of them all and acted like a mom whenever in class. She always made sure everyone was okay and that everyone understood what was happening before we moved onto another subject. She was all around a great teacher and I loved being in her class every moment. She helped prepare all of us for the upcoming year going into sixth grade and taught us everything we needed to know. It was really sad thinking about leaving elementary school and going into middle school, but in the end I was finally growing up and moving on in my

One day we were talking at lunch and a girl came up to us and started talking to us about herself and how discourteous her friends were to her, of course we told her that she could hang out with us. All three of us had the same class and became best friends quickly, after that I made some friends and I had the best school year of my life. The 6th grader that sat next to me was Destiny who, after 6th grade, went to Somerset but to this day we are still best friends.
