Why everyone should always wear a seatbelt

To persuade students in my class to wear a seatbelt at all times
To persuade my audience to always wear a seatbelt by informing them about the dangers of not wearing a seatbelt, the solution to get more people to wear a seatbelt, and the benefits of wearing a seatbelt.
I'm sure you've all heard the phrase "Click it or Ticket." It's a Nebraska law requiring drivers and passengers to wear their seatbelts. It also states that drivers can be fined if themselves or other passengers in the car are not properly buckled up. This topic is significant to me because a handful of students that I knew in high school either passed away or were severely injured because they did not wear their seatbelts.
The National Transportation Safety Board has recognized for many years that car crashes are accountable for more deaths than all other transportation types combined. More than 90% of all transportation deaths are caused by highway crashes. According to Danielle Roeber of the National Transportation Safety Board, the single most effective way to prevent injuries and death on the highway is to wear a seatbelt. When used properly, seatbelts reduce the risk of fatal injury to front seat vehicle occupants by 45%.

Wearing a seatbelt can prevent numerous injuries such as broken bones and brain injuries. Approximately 19% of passengers in cars nationwide do not wear seat belts and this causes thousands of people per year to die when in a car accident. Even though you may think that not wearing a seat belt only affects yourself and your safety, this is not correct. Unbelted passengers frequently injure other passengers because they can became airborne in the vehicle and cause trauma, even if the other passengers are wearing a
