Searching For Your Soul Mate Ever wonder when the day will come when you finally find the one you will call true love, my world, my everything, or soul mate? We go out with friends to parties, bars, clubs, and any social events that come up. We talk to many different people, some more than others and probably start some type of relationship, but later on see it was not what we were looking for, so you are back to being single and out on the hunt again. This is pretty common, nothing really different from the ordinary, but it is actually really different from what people did just a few decades ago. I talked about the difference in the age in which people got married, but why has there been a change in years so drastically. People got married at a young age because it was the first sign in growing up. They were tired of living with their parents and wanted freedom away. People thought that the perfect time to get married was right after high school or college and that is when people missed out in the emerging adulthood. Unlike in the 1950s, people in today’s world has changed the average marriage age and increased it by ten. People now are getting married around the age of thirty. They have realized that time has changed and that there is more opportunities for people to succeed and that there are other priorities. Now people are not to in a rush out the house and to get married but rather to go further and further with your education, to find a carrier that makes you happy, and lastly to go out and have fun. Doing all these things and traveling is where many people find their soul mate. Another part of emerging adulthood is living life to the fullest. People have to have fun, excitement, and a time of freedom away from parents where people can get the pleasures of being an adult before actually getting married. Many people, when Aziz asked the elderly people what is something you wished you did when you were younger, the elderly people said not living enough. They
