In this new generation, children are becoming less and less disciplined; therefore, in order for us to stop them from a dangerous future, we need to tighten our grip over them. This new generation believes that they can get away with anything they want and we need to stop this; otherwise, they’ll be more mischievous and disobedient. This way, they will understand what they can and cannot do, leading them to a brighter future. Many schools are arguing with families over the search and seizure of students’ bags, person, and lockers. the parents are arguing that it’s a violation of the fourth amendment, not only invading their pupils’ privacy, but also their property ;however, on the other side, the schools argue that searching the desks and lockers are the school's’ property and that they’re only doing it to discipline and protect them.

Indicators of School Crime and Safety: 2014 studies show, between the grades of 9-12, 22% of people say that illegal drugs are available to them. Therefore, if we have more officers and searches, we can reduce this number even lower and protect students from harming themselves. Not only to protect them, but the students are also on the school’s property. Which means, It also shouldn’t be illegal from schools to search their students’ lockers or desks, because after all, they are school property lent to them to help them, and they are abusing this
