About the Entrepreneur
Mitch McManaman started his first entrepreneurial venture in high school when he opened a lawn care company. After high school, he attended the University of Florida to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree, he continued his education and entrepreneurial journey by attending the University of Florida’s Master’s in Entrepreneurship program.

Monitoring internet usage could be useful for both families and businesses. In business, it is useful to track employee’s internet history to ensure productivity. A study found that the amount of employers that are monitoring employee internet usage is 66% and this number is rising ("The Rise of Workplace Spying”).

Search Alert will create the infrastructure to classify websites into different categories. Next, we will develop a mobile application that will be installed on the “child devices.” Search Alert will then send internet browsing reports to the “parent device.” The “child devices” are the devices being monitored by the parent device.
