Have you ever felt so intrigued by the way animals preform in the circus? Did you wonder how they learned to do those amazing tricks? For someone who loves animals as much as I do, it is very displeasing to learn that animals are not doing this for their own enjoyment, but instead being forced to do so for our own enjoyment.
First, I will be speaking on the wrong doings of the circuses, in which they use many animals in a very cruel way to make money for themselves. The circus has been the place to go to when it is in town, but unfortunately the entertainment you are enduring is on a count of animal abuse. Tigers and Lions are trapped into a cage with their trainers, being whipped to do a trick after another trick, and eventually snap and go after their trainers and injury them. Both humans and animals have both died from the lack of care for them. Which in other events leads me to the other cruel attraction cite, Sea World.
Sea World is one of the largest animal entertainments in the United States, and also one of the cruelest to its’ animals. Sea World has captured one of the largest animals in the world, and kept them in captivity to make a profit off of them. The Orca, on average, 75 years old, and in captivity? Around 30 years old. They are able to detect wherever their pods are by their sounds. When in captivity, they are ripped away at a young age from their mothers, leaving them very depressed. Which is one of their many reasons for their outbreaks against the trainers. When putting two large animals in a tight space together, they are eventually going to attack when one invades the others space, which has happened to many of the whales in Sea World. Leaving them with lacerations and open wounds being forced into an even smaller tank to separate the two Orcas. Also, orcas’ fins are not to be naturally bent downward, a bent fin indicates bad health, almost all of the whales in captivity have bent
