Sea lettuce, also known as Ulva Lactuca which is its scientific name, is taking over our beaches here in the Bay Of Plenty. We are not controlling it properly. Every time sea lettuce washes up on shore we spend lots of time and money for trucks and equipment to clean it off the beaches.
