From my point of view Script pad’s major challenge is adoption on pharmacy side. The technology of Script Pad’s may be adopted by any other individual physician and can affect only physician. In contrast if technology is adopted by pharmacy it might need to provide training to many employees to train them how to use that technology and it also need changes in normal routine of pharmacy. Due to this it will likely to create high resistance on pharmacy side. Many employees can resist of new technology and then it will become challenge how to convey them for accepting new and advanced technology. It will be going to difficult task so according to me major challenge is adoption on pharmacy side. According to Script Pad its big challenge is user adoption and it needs to adopt both pharmacy and physician sides to get success. There is hardly change seen in medical industry. Despite taking advantage of electronic prescription, presently only 10% electronic prescriptions are handled. For promoting electronic health records U.S. congress is authorizing funds as economic stimulus package. Still success of Script Pad Is optimistic and it can literally save lives. I would have also informed future or prospect customers regarding this application. And we could do consumer survey to know whether my application is liked my customers or do they have interest in Script Pad application. I also would have done survey for pharmacist and doctor to ask what they think regarding this application. If they think it is brilliant idea and their opinion and suggestion are also welcome for any improvement in application. So to make any product, Service, application successful in market firstly customer survey, market survey and feasibility test is must as it helps to know whether the product or service will have future. Whether there is any chances of its success and if product or service have probable chances to get success then only it should make available for sale.
