The debate of whether screen viewing has negative or positive affects on children has been a long controversial topic. With every passing year, screens are being used in different ways that are increasing its presence in our daily lives that might alarm some parents. However through limited screen viewing time and depending on the content being viewed, I believe this can lead to a positive influence on a childs life.

Limited screen time can help keep a balance between different aspects of a childs life. As pointed out in "Screen Time Limits Are Vital for Children", the average of 7.5 hours of screen time per day may be too much time on one single thing to concentrate on other activities.
