Screen Time Is Harmful

It's been argued whether or not screen time can be detrimental to a child's development in large amounts. I believe that children should only be exposed to screens for 1-2 hours a day, and for educational purposes. Kids can't be as social if they're constantly glued to a video game or tv. That being said, there can be some upsides to having access to media for your children.

Kids shouldn't be exposed to tv or video game screens for large parts of the day. In doing so they're reducing they're attention span and limiting their observation skills. I believe that educational programs to help kids learn can be very beneficial, but not for several hours at a time. Only by reducing screen time with our young children can we hope to keep from raising
