Introduction While it is believed by researchers that television can help with some lingual and visual development, children twenty-four months and younger do not receive any benefit from screen time through television. Television causes structural damage to their brain in the frontal lobe, cerebral cortex, and many other parts preventing them from becoming well developed and capable adults. As well as brain damage it also causes behavioral problems and lifestyle changes. Therefore, children under two years old should not exposed to screen time at all during this time period in their life as to not risk damage to their brain and growth as a person into society.

Discussion
First, children under two should not be exposed to television screen time as they do not benefit from it and it causes damage to their brain structure. Studies show that in children that watch four or more hours of television showed anatomical differences in several regions in their brain (Fields, 2015, p. 1). Instead of exposing young children to television parents should allow them to explore their surroundings, read to them, sleep, interact with them, play with toys, and watch the real world around them.
