Brody is the author of the article “Screen Addiction Is Taking a Toll on Children” . Her story was about how kids are exposed to technology and the more they grow. The more they will be attached to their devices because kids today own Ipads, phones, and even computers. It all starts on the way the kids grow up. Parents will put children in front of tablets to keep them quiet or put the kid in front of a TV to calm them down and she is right. I see kids today who are only 10 or younger who have the latest phones with every app you can think of including the most popular app Instagram and Snapchat. I feel like in this generation of kids “Older children and teenagers should spend no more than one or two hours a day with entertainment media, preferably with high-quality content, and spend more free time playing outdoors, reading, doing hobbies”. Most kids growing up played with real toy trucks and went to the park, but now kids are playing with trucks from some sort of game and going outside.They will leave to take a selfie of themselves “enjoying nature” then quickly go back inside for 2 more hours liking every picture they see eventually being pulled apart from the real
