One of the most interesting discovered super foods are hemp seeds. They actually grow on a large variety of the cannabis plant, yet they can quite easily be found in health stores.
Hemp seeds are a great source of protein, 44% of the seed is oil which again contain 80% essential fatty acids, omega 6 and omega 3.
Worth a try, with tofu rich in protein and some nutritional yeast this breakfast will keep you going for a while.
Ingredients Serves 4
3 (2 inch square) blocks of firm tofu, or the equivalent quantity
•1 medium onion (finely chopped)
•1 tbsp tahini
•1/8 tsp turmeric powder
•2 tbsp nutritional yeast
