Description and stakeholders’ feedbacks
In 2014, Post introduced the Product Management (PM) Process Stages approach which helped to drive Scoubido project to market. The PM Process Stages is based on the New Product Development (NPD) which consists of a process to bring new products to the market. There are several approaches for analyzing and responding to the challenges of new product development. At Post, the PM Process includes the following stages:
- V0: Vision Agreement,
- PRE-DM1: Opportunity review,
- DM1: Worthwhile to go further
- DM2: Go/no Go (development starts)
- DM3 opt.: Market friendly launch
- DM4: Commercial Launch
- DM5: how successful are we
- DM6: Phase out

Risk assessment
Assessing the marked-based, technological, manufacturing, and design sources of risk to the development. Highly tied to the market and the firm’s capabilities
Project organization
The use of cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams carrying responsibility for the project from beginning to the end.
Project resources
Sufficient financial and material resources and human skills must be available. The Post must possess the management and technological activities.
Proficiency of execution
Quality of technological activities as well as all sales and marketing activities
Top management support
From concept through to launch. Management must be able to create an atmosphere of trust, coordination and control.
Conclusion
Application of this principle can reduce “time to market”. Rapid products/services innovation and improved customer responsiveness are being achieved through organizational change programs involving parallel working, early involvement of different functional specialists along all the process
