The Book I would like to read, actually requires me to read an entire series of graphic novels. Even though graphic novels are not considered real books, this series in particular, could be a written novel but, author Brian O'neil, decided to make the story one that is told in a comic book fashion. If this was a written novel it would be considered a love drama, that’s mostly what it is, but it takes on a very digital type of feel. Meaning that throughout the series, its almost like you're reading a video game. The series I want to read is Scott Pilgrim. The plot involves a 23 year old Canadian nerd named Scott Pilgrim, who is a quiet and laid back guy with no job and no future career; the only thing he has going for him is his band(which isn't very good as it is). It starts of with him telling his friends that he's dating a 17 year Chinese girl named Knives Chou. To us, this seems like babysitting, to Scott, this is him trying to distract himself from his "precious little life". Scott lives with his gay roommate Wallace Wells. Whose constantly harasses him about his love life, calling his girlfriend his "fake" high school girlfriend.

A girl with pinkish red hair skates by him, saying he's not alone and he's just having an idiotic dream. He wakes up in time to take Knives to the library, while there he sees the girl from his dream. She becomes all he thinks about for the rest of the day. That night he attends a party, while there he asks his friend Colman if he knows of the girl, he say yes and tells him her name is Ramona Flowers and that shes at the party. Scott finds her and approaches, only to make a complete fool of himself. He learns that she works for amazon as a delivery girl. Scott orders a complete random object just to get her to show up at his home. She does and he asks her out, she replies by asking if she says yes will he sign for him
