First, more school hours can overwhelm children. The school day stresses many kids with all the homework and work they have to do. Nearly a third of respondents said they were “overwhelmed” by the pressure (Pg.31). This information from the article shows how kids can get stressed from hours of school so extending them would be an atrocious idea.
