Throughout this course I have learned about many different religions, their practices, and beliefs. Since there were so many different religions, the religion that I would like to discuss is Scientology. I always hear about scientology or celebrities who practice scientology; however I never knew what scientology entailed. Throughout this research paper, I will discuss more in depth what scientology practices and beliefs are.

Scientology was founded in 1952 by and author named L.Ron Hubbard. Hubbard had originally founded a program called Dianetics, which is a set of practices and ideas emphasizing the relationship between the mind and body.
