Young Earth Creationists believe that the universe was made in six literal days and has only existed for the past 7500 years. This does not match at all with science. It is also believed that the Earth and humans are about 4.5 billion years old. This means that God most likely made the universe over a long span of time since the literal “six day” creation story would only age them 6 days apart.
