For instance, we are still debating about the existence of God and creation of the Earth while Scientists built overtime a deep understanding of the evolution of the Earth. Both Myth and Science live together.

For example, in the genesis in the beginning there was nothing and then seven steps the world was created by God. The notion of paradise, to dream, hell, rights and duties as well as sanctions were created. This process can be compared with any process of life often from nothing; we advance by steps to build something, a dream, a paradise or an ideal. Throughout this course, we have constraints, dilemmas. The genesis is explained in different point of view by the three monotheistic religions. But at the end it is the same god, the same ancestors.
In Oryx and Crake, the writer Margaret Atwood covers both topics; science and myths. She gave also her strong point of view. In her opinion, Myth has a positive impact on the community by providing a framework of thinking and behaving. In the antics myth, the hero put all his strength to made the world better, more peaceful. Snowman can be this hero because he gave almost all his life to help the Crakers, to educate them. He wants them to be good, peaceful, happy and kind. In the mythology, the creatures are almost all humans. The Crakers are. And the gods, Oryx and Crake, for Snowman’s myth don’t want the Crakers to eat animals, “the children of Oryx” or they’ll be punished. The Crakers are under the control of Oryx and Crake’s “messenger”; they obey to Snowman, if he wants a fish every two days he can. They’ll do it. The risk about all this is that the owner or the leader of the Myth has the full power. They can become dictators like Stalin or Hitler. But Snowman invented a myth just because it was helping him explaining things or facts that were strange. Snowman never used the Crakers to do bad things. He wants to protect them of everything that’s bad. They’re like his children. He’ll give his life to
