Science Movie Day Analysis

Science Movie Day Paper The movie in my opinion was a simple vision of the apocalypse or the world coming to an end as people today call it. It is a very realistic movie in some ways but most of the movies created today with similar story lines are. As I watched this movie I felt as if it kind of jumped into the climax of the story to early and didn’t give it enough time to build, but the reasoning behind that is to ensure the watcher understands that these events that may become reality can be sudden, but not exactly too sudden. Initially everyone has an opinion although, most opinions never match up you cannot determine how watching something like this movie is going to make people feel. In doing my research I have discovered the most scientist enjoy this movie more than the average movie goer. Christopher Smith (meteorologist) stated that it was a very interesting movie, because it fast forwards ideas scientist have in mind about the events that may occur if humans do not take care of the …show more content…
Although it is surprising, most people are not too particularly fond of movies that refer to “Judgement Day”. The reasoning varies some people fear this day others think it disgraces their religion others just simply dislike it. For example, Ms. Nell Minow discussed her opinion on rotten tomatoes stating how the effects was the only exciting part of the movie. Basically the story line wasn’t great at all but the only thing that gave her a bit of amusement was seeing people freeze or drown to death. Another critic, who went into major detail about his opinion was simply upset with both the writer and director. Mr. Baron stated the movie was confusing and chaotic because there were too many people he believed was the protagonist, but ended up being killed before they did anything to help the story
