Science fiction is literature expressing our imagination while being guided by logic. When you think about science fiction. I's most likely you’re relating it to Stars Wars or Star Trek, but there are other great examples for science fiction like the movie Dragon Ball Z; Broly The Legendary Super Saiyan. A hunter name Eckels pays $10000 to travel with the Time Safari. The Time Safari is a company that allows you to travel to the past to hunt down prehistoric animals. Eckel request to hunt down a Tyrannosaurus Rex. During this trip he will be accompanied by two other hunters and a guide named Travis. They were to obey their guide at all time. When reaching their destination there was a path laid out for them. The path prevent changes to the timeline. The smallest change could cause a ripple effect alternating the route of the timeline. The species they’re able to hunt are marked. They’re marks indicate that they’re killable meaning if there were hunted the timeline wouldn’t be affected. When they finally found a Tyrannosaurus Rex it had intimidated Eckels, so he ran. While running he trips and kills a butterfly. Travis and the other hunters kills the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Travis was furious with Eckel, but Eckel claims it wasn’t his fault. When they finally got back to the present the timeline was altered. The effects from the alteration changed the writing, and the result of the presidential election. Finally, Travis had enough of Eckels screw up ands he pointed the gun to Eckels. In the end all we heard was ‘‘a sound of thunder’’. The story is considered science fiction because it was about time traveling. The story took place during a timeline where technology was so advanced it enabled humanity to travel through time. The theme of this story would be ‘‘Small actions could make a difference’’.
