The topic of this science fair project was, seeing what stain removers did, and did not work on various stains. People all over the world spill things on their clothing, and can’t get the stain out. This experiment will help people find the correct stain remover, that is efficient and safe. The hypothesis for this experiment was that enzyme stain removers would work better than, non-biological stain removers, and biological stain removers. The approach to investigating this problem was to take one shirt and spread the stain on four different areas of it. Then, spray one to four squirts of different stain removers on each stain. Next, wash the shirt and dry it, an then repeat five times and write down the results. When writing down the results

The topic I chose for my science fair project is: Which Saxophone Reeds are the Loudest? I chose this project because my cousin did this project a couple years ago and it inspired me to try for myself. I did not ever hear his final result about which reeds ended up being the loudest. I did hear some of the different materials and strengths of the reeds that he used and I chose more strengths of reeds than he did. There are three important facts about reeds.…

In the nine unknown solutions experiment there was nine solutions that were labeled with just numbers from one to nine and all of these one to nine solutions were mixed together randomly to see what kind of reaction it would form. There were mostly no reactions being formed but the reactions that were soluble and insoluble formed different colors of precipitate. The main importance in finding the nine unknown solutions was to prevent any inaccuracies that might form when there is a chemical compound forming. This experiment was done to determine the identity of the nine unknown solutions like color (physical trait), and chemical characteristics.…

The question is, “Which paper towel brand is the most absorbent?” The hypothesis is, “If a dropper drops water equally on a paper towel of each brand until it started to drip, then Bounty brand would contain the most water, in grams. The independent variable is the brands of paper towels. The dependent variable is the grams of water that was contained in the paper towel. The control variable was that every paper towel sheet was cut to be 15.2 centimeters by 28.1 centimeters.…

What prompted my research and purpose? Ideas, because the experiment idea came from a book called “ Science Fair Ideas for DUMMIES”. This idea was significance for me because I have wondered whether a bottled water from a store or filtered water would get out or prevent any stains. But, most of all I chose this experiment, because I thought it was interesting to do and I am interested in this project. My hypothesis was “Filtered water would prevent stains” because it’s more thoroughly clean than the bottled water.…

Introduction Enzymes are proteins that are biological catalysts that increases the rate of chemical reactions (JRank Articles). With the use of enzymes it can accelerate certain reaction rates at a faster past then if the reaction was moving at it natural speed (JRank Articles). The activity of enzymes are control by many things like environment, inhibitors, and regulatory binding sites that happens on the enzyme(JRank Articles). The overall reaction in the natural setting which was the basic reaction in this experiment was in a time period of twenty minutes the solution went from a pale peach to a darker more copper color. The hypothesis/prediction for the basic reaction, control problem one, and control problem two is, if benzoquinone is present…

For my science fair project I investigated how a solar oven works and how it can help others that don't have an oven. But I also investigated how the light of the sun affected it and how the sun is attracted to the black construction paper and aluminum, and their simulates. Another thing that I had to investigate was how the light went through the glass or plastic and which types of glass or plastic was better. I investigated these things because to know how the project will be successful and so it will melt or cook better the object better. I also investigated how the temperature will or how it will affect it.…

Introduction: Enzymes have a huge effect on the human body and other organisms. Enzymes are catalysts that are used to accelerate the reaction process by lowering the activation energy. For this experiment the catechol oxidase was extracted from potatoes. The enzyme is called catechol oxidase because the oxygen is reacting to catechol. Catechol oxidase causes the browning of the fruits and vegetables because the compound is toxic to the bacteria.…

This is the interpretation and analysis the experiment regarding the cleaning power of the chlorine bleach produced by Clorox and laundry detergent produced by Oxiclean. This interpretation is essential to understand the data and how effective each of the independent variables in this experiment are. As an analysis, there were many key points that made this data relevant. Regarding the coffee, both of the cleaners did quite a successful job at removing these stains.…
