In this lab, the objective is to research astronomical devices through the provided respective links. After choosing one of the devices used to study Astronomy, the researcher must then begin to delve into information about the device and its current location and providers. Through research an understanding is gained, and the researcher is able to better comprehend the capabilities of their decided to device. Once this step is achieved, it is next part of the process to review images produce by similar resources via the Hubble Space Telescope. The researcher is to choose one of the images provided by the center. After reading the explanation of the image, questions need to be reviewed as well as a description of the images contents. As the final portion of the lab, the researcher will review a NASA mission, to enable the understanding of tool, content, and simulation of the actual study. As a researcher, I began my lab by researching the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA). The ATCA is operated by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) at the Paul Wild Observatory located west of Narrabri, Australia. The radio telescope is built up of six dishes all with identical twenty-two meter radiuses. Operators use the ATCA to produce radio images by commonly using an aperture synthesis mode. Although the ATCA provides enough resources itself, it is also used collaboratively with other CSIRO telescopes to produce a baseline interferometry array.…
