Do you want to pick your own clothes when getting ready for school? Or are you forced to wear a school uniform? Many schools have school uniforms in the United States. Many of those students want to wear their own clothes but they are forced to wear a school uniform. Schools make students wear ugly grey clothes, when they can wear any color or variety of clothing they have. I believe that any student can wear what they want to wear. The schools shouldn’t pick what they wear. I think that schools shouldn’t have school uniforms.
To begin, school uniforms cost $249! Why would parents buy school uniforms and normal clothes? That’s just a waste of money.

Wearing colorful, cool, or bright colors show your personality, that you are a crazy or nice or a fun person. Making the decision of what you wear shows responsibility. Teachers want to see responsibility because that’s what they want to see at school, so picking your clothes can really play a big part in your life.Picking your clothes and making the decision is showing that you are mature and responsible. People want to see this. If you have to wear a uniform everyday, then you don’t have a chance of showing people that you are mature and responsible. A final reason why schools should not have school uniforms is that kids still get bullied with school uniforms or without them. Just because they are wearing the same clothes as everyone else doesn’t mean they won’t get bullied.Students can still be bullied for what they look like or their personality. Students can get bullied for what their face looks like or what race they are or gender. They can also get bullied for what they like to do or what their favorite things are or other reasons.Students don’t have to be wearing the same thing as other people are to not be bullied anymore. They get bullied for many different reasons. According to ProCon.org they say, “Bullying occurs whether students wear uniforms or not. The root cause of bullying should be addressed.”Students get bullied either way with school uniforms or without school uniforms. It’s not what they wear
