On Thursday, November 19th 2015 I visted M.S.8 on 105 Johnson street., 4th floor inside the George Washington School buliding in Brookyln. It took me about an hour to get to the school coming from The Bronx. From the train station ( Bourough Hall) it was about a 8-10 minute walk to the school. The neighboorhood had many stores and food places. There were many people on there way to work Many people in suits (assuming most worked in the courts near by).

It also gave me a safe feeling because there was a security patroling the hallways who was very friendly. I was placed in 7th grade class 703. It was a class of 30 students who were aged from 12-14. This class was mixed with students in speacial education who had a TA who follwed them around and helped them with

Long, wide roads, small houses, and steel fences were my view as I walked into an unfamiliar building called Thomas Jefferson Middle School. I did not know anything about the culture or the language; a huge chill came over me, which I have never felt before. I felt goose bumps as I first walked in the building. The building was old and was not well cared for. The colors of the walls were fading and the elevators made the sound of a dying animal when it moved.…
