Parents spend a lot of money on clothes at the beginning of each school year for their children. Kids like to keep up with the latest trends that they see and that can cost a pretty penny. Those designer clothes are pricey and they add up. It can put a lot of financial pressure on families, especially if those families have multiple children. For a child, that cannot afford the name brand clothing, they would appreciate the use of school uniforms. If schools invested in uniforms, parents would only have to buy one or two sets a year. If the costs between regular clothes and school uniforms were compared, the difference would be huge. Parents would save an enormous amount if they just bought school uniforms. There would also be more time saved because of them. Before each school year parents and kids spend days looking for a bunch of different clothes when all they would have to do is pick out the school uniform. It would be quicker and easier. Also, the time that they would have spent picking out clothes instead of a uniform, would be contributed towards something else. Unity is a very important thing to have in a school. In order to be successful sometimes people need to come together. It would almost feel like everyone in the school was a part of a sports team.
