Do you like what you are wearing right now? Is it something you would wear everyday and feel pride that you are wearing those clothes? School uniforms can make you feel like that. It would allow you to take pride in your school and yourself by wearing it everyday. I don’t care if I have wear the same thing every day while I’m at school so why would you?

My argument is that school uniforms will make you feel pride to represent your school. By wearing those clothes you show that you like going to the school you are at and that you respect everyone and everything there. By wearing something they school does not allows you to wear you show that you think that you don’t need to be there getting the education people would kill for. The violence

In my 6th grade year, I was wearing a dress and the teachers said it was too short for school. So I had to miss a whole period of learning time just for a short skirt. I watched a documentary called “shame” where a bunch of girls that went to a Kentucky school called Woodford County High school. They all at least had been sent to the office once for dress code during class at least once. When if they had a uniform they would have never missed class for something that could have been prevented if they had a uniform.…

The idea of school dress codes being sexist and encouraging rape culture has become very popular across school districts. There are stories about protests and strikes all around the country. I have witnessed these “dress code violations” and from what I witnessed, none of these girls were in the wrong. There have been too many times that young ladies get dress coded because what they are wearing is a “distraction” to young men. These boys need to be taught self control and I should not get punished because I was dressing comfortably for the weather.…

The opposings say school uniforms cure violence and gang prone violence, prevents in-school bullying, and equalizes students, however there has been little evidence that they provide those or any benefits at all. I on the other hand strongly believe school uniforms may increase violent attacks, increase school bullying, and provide more segregation and inequality…

One of the advantages of uniforms is a sense of equality. If everyone in the school is wearing the same thing students who do not have the means to buy fashionable clothing will not have a feeling of inferiority. Even students who have the opportunity to buy fashion clothes will not be able to discriminate other students and will learn not to judge a book by its cover because they will not be able to make the difference between a student that is rich or poor. The sense of equality will help students to perform better in school rather than worrying about fashion…

Schools all around the world suffer dress code policy at their school, and enforcing it and keeping everyone happy. It’s safe to say that dress code at South Iredell High school is a pressing issue that is affecting students every day. Dress code is outrageous, not allowing students to wear leggings, tank tops, or even headbands. As crazy as this seems it’s true in fact teachers and administration will give students detention, or ask them to go home and change during the middle of the day. After three years of this ridiculous dress code I’ve come to a solution every student should attend school without clothing i.e. attending school nude.…

Uniforms direct improvements in safety by making it easier to detect unauthorized visitors in a school. People that are not in uniform stand out and easily can be identified as a criminal or someone who plans to cause violence. Violence can take away from a students learning environment where as with uniforms it can decrease the chance that students become affected by it. More students are aware of violence that happens in school systems that can factor into their school achievement. Uniforms also restrict student to express gang emblems or colors on their clothing.…

Some schools already require their students to wear uniforms, but others are still deciding whether to make it mandatory or not. Schools that have already implemented this policy have seen the benefits of it. School uniforms should be required because it saves time and lot of money for the parents, reduces peer pressure and bullying, and helps prevent the use of inappropriate clothing in a formal institute.…

School uniform opponents, like myself, believe that students should not be forced to wear uniforms because it restricts the right of self-expression and individuality, and doesn’t improve academic achievement and attendance, and effects self-image. The first amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees its people the freedom of expression which is violated by establishing mandatory school uniforms. The ability of students to express themselves is limited when they are forced to wear the…

School Uniforms School uniforms have been a controversial subject on whether students should wear them or not. There are many ways students can be conservative for school other than wearing a uniform. Therefore, I don’t think uniforms are necessary. School uniforms should not be mandatory because students should be able to express themselves, you pay more for certain uniforms, and it can affect one’s self-image.
