Implementing a PBIS system that will reinforce appropriate behaviors help supporters of the system expect the students will not need any behavior reductive strategies. The goal of the school system is to reinforce appropriate behavior. Modeling appropriate behavior and rewarding it would limit the need for behavior reductive strategies. It is our job as teachers to model appropriate behavior for students. If they do not see this appropriate behavior, then they might feel that do not need to follow the behavior. We need to be the example for these students. One thing I have noticed is we want our student to go quietly down the hall but while walking them to the cafeteria or library I see other teachers yelling or calling out to people. We
