In todays world unfortunately we are no strangers to school shootings. Every student deserves a safe place to further their education. “Is Pierce college ready for an active shooter situation”? I sure as hell hope so, considering just today our country had 2 deadly shootings at schools. Preparing for an active shooter situation is not exactly a walk in the park. How does anyone prepare to be gunned down? It’s not an easy topic to tackle. Of course safety is always paramount. We can always be safer. Is Pierce College prepared for an active shooter? The answer is yes. Is our school bullet proof? No. Can we as a student body make a difference? Yes.
Some may argue that our security here at Pierce College is understaffed, and unarmed without
