As I start reading the article, I found out that it was about the injuries and death caused by shooting. I felt positive about the article, but as I continue reading it I figured out that there were no specific information about School Shooting injuries or deaths. Luckily, Alter’s website had some great links that I found really helpful. I came by a really good webpage called “Firearms and Crimes” and it has really good graphs and its statistics on the ways in which guns are used to commit crimes in School. The interesting thing about this site is that the information is came from the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the U.S. Department of Justice. The thing that caught my attention was a graph that indicates, “54% of the directed assaults against postsecondary” caused by shooting (Alters).
I was so happy with my research so far, but I wanted to find something that shows how shooting in school affects students’ grade overall.
