I am probably one of many students reaching out to you regarding previous events such as the devastating shooting in South Florida in this last month. School shootings have become very popular in the last couple of years. The numbers are doubling by the minute. I would first like to say that I am very pleased with the way you are handling these situations by taking immediate action and trying to fix a problem that will never be completely fixable. As a child who has been raised with multiple traumas from family problems with no fixed solution to that; I understand the frustration that ensues when the problem has no easily attainable solution. I believe for schools to be a safer and learning environment, we must have more school security. We
