Imagine sitting in the corner of a dark room, knowing there's nothing you can do to save your friends as their wails pierce eerie silence leading up to gunshots. School shootings are a terrible tragedy rising in numbers. Slaughters such as these can be reduced if we pay more attention to the students and help them establish better connections with their teachers.
Often times a child's severe emotions can be put off to the side as just puberty or them "just being a teenager". If parents and teachers would just take a bit time to look into what's really going on, it could possibly save lives. Many students with feelings such as these feel like they have no where and no one to turn to. It could benefit everyone if we show them that that's not
